I have a problem building PIL on a Mac. What should I do?

The PIL build script tries to compile for any architecture, including PPC/x86, when you have only one of those. You should edit the params to the gcc compiler as said on  http://passingcuriosity.com/2009/installing-pil-on-mac-os-x-leopard/.
